I was on the Telly Box!…

Me and Sharon Horgan after I did her hair and makeup.

…Well, briefly anyways!

Hello Lovelies, yes, on Wednesday I was on the TV. Last August I was hired by Ree Ree Rockette of Rockalily Cuts to do some makeup for a Channel 4 documentary called ‘Approaching a midlife crisis‘ presented by Sharon Horgan (who is hilarious, I loved her TV show about motherhood). It was a sweltering day in the shop but much fun was had. Nicola, the lady being interviewed about her new life in the Rockabilly scene, had her hair styled by the lovely Lucie Luella, head stylist at Rockalily Cuts. The crew filmed a fair bit of footage but only a small amount was used for the show, so, blink and you may miss me but I was there! I can’t believe how quickly the time has passed since filming, the wait seemed so long away but it really wasn’t! On a side note, Ree Ree said she didn’t like her shorter fringe in the scenes but I think it looks ace.

You can watch the show here (it’s up for 28 days, I don’t know if it will be added to 4oD’s more permanent collection) Nicola’s story is on in the last 10 minutes of the show. That’s all for now. Thank you kindly for reading.
